God’s Grace Gives You Victory

Discover how being conscious of God’s grace leads you to victory every day

In every case of our lives, there is always guilt that creeps in. Guilt brings lack, frustration, and sickness. God never meant it to be like that. He loves you so deeply that He wants you to be under His grace all the time. Grace brings God’s sufficiency in our lives while the law brings death. Let me show you a powerful scripture here:

Who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Corinthians 3:6, ESV)

It is not by the law that we are saved from all our troubles and situations, but it is by the Spirit of God. God once told me that the more I know I am His righteousness in Christ, the more of His supply of favor and grace comes. Let’s look at the following verse here:

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. (Galatians 5:4, NIV)

The Devil came to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. When Jesus talks about life here, He meant a life filled with many good days, and if you want to possess that life, friend, then you’ve got to know that there is now no condemnation for you who are in Christ. So, the Devil steals the message of the Gospel of grace first in your heart because He knows it is going to give you victory and you end up living in that cycle of defeat and lack again. The Bible tells us:

For, if by one man’s offense, death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17, KJV)

Let me tell you a secret: the more you confess you are the righteousness of God in Christ and become more conscious that God does not condemn you for your sins because you are in Christ, your victory will not stand in doubt. Feed yourself with messages that are all about God’s goodness and His love for you, because that is when you will prosper in every area of your life. Amen!

1 Corinthian 15:57

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ was fully identified with sinful man when He was made sin for us, on Calvary's Cross. He was sent by God to be the one and only offering for sin and as His blood-bought children, we are identified with His finished work. Christ’s triumphant victory over sin, death, Satan, and hell, becomes our triumphant victory too, and the filthy rags of our old life in Adam are replaced with the glorious garment of righteousness which are imputed to us because of our new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Christ's gained a triumphant victory over sin and death on the Cross, which climaxed with His glorious resurrection from the dead, and this verse gives insight into what His glorious resurrection means for all who are in Christ. Every member of Christ's Body will be transformed, spirit, soul, and body, and this perishable body will be changed into an imperishable body, and this mortal will put on immortality.

Those who are in Christ will claim His full and final victory over sin and death, the grave and hell at the Rapture of the Church, when the dead in Christ are raised in incorruptible bodies. Those that are alive will be changed into His likeness, in the twinkling of an eye, and taken to be with the Lord forever. The trump of God will sound and the voice of the archangel will be heard to shout, as the Body of Christ are summoned to their heavenly home: "Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The blessed hope we have in Christ is that this natural, physical body, will be raised a supernatural, spiritual body. The sting of death has been removed for all who trust in His name, and the grave has been robbed of its victory by the sacrificial death and glorious Resurrection of our God and Saviour.

It was Adam’s rebellion against God’s clear command and his sinful act in the beautiful garden, that caused the icy finger of death to descend upon all humanity. Sin entered into the world by one man, and because of sin, death passed onto all men for all are sinners and all are in need of salvation.

And so, just as one offence resulted in condemnation for all men, so one glorious act of righteousness results in justification and life for all, for all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as through one man's disobedience many people were made sinners, so also through one Man's obedience, many people will be made righteous: "So thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The day is coming when this corruptible will be clothed with incorruptibility and our mortal frame will be clothed with immortality. The time is fast approaching when we will proclaim, "Death has been swallowed up in victory. O Death, where is your victory? O Death, where is your sting? Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Surely, our jubilant shout of triumphant thanksgiving and victory will resound throughout the eternal ages to come: "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

My Prayer for you

Loving Father, how much I love You and praise Your name for ever and ever. I am not worthy to pick up the crumbs under Your table and yet You have raised me up and seated me together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places, by sending Your only begotten Son to pay the incredible price for my sin and to break the power of death in my life. I praise Your name for ever and ever. All glory and honour and might and majesty be Yours, for ever and ever, AMEN.
